Dear Children, Staff, Parents, Carers and Families
As we come to the end of another busy and successful school year at Sandbank Primary School and ELC, I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for your hard work, dedication and support throughout the year.
To our children – you have shown great enthusiasm for learning, kindness towards one another and resilience in all that you do. You should be very proud of your achievements. Well done!
To our staff – thank you for your continued commitment, care and professionalism. Your efforts make a real difference every day, and the positive learning environment you create is valued greatly.
To our parents, carers and families – your support, encouragement and partnership with the school are truly appreciated. Working together helps ensure the very best for our young people.
As the summer holidays begin, I wish you all a well-deserved and restful break. I hope you enjoy spending time with family and friends, making happy memories, and taking the opportunity to relax and recharge.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back to school on Monday, 17 August 2026, ready for another exciting year ahead.
Thank you once again, and have a wonderful summer holiday.
Warm regards,
Mr MacDonald, Head Teacher

Since taking up the post of Head Teacher at Sandbank Primary School, I have been overwhelmed by the desire and support of our staff team, pupils and parents alike as we aim to ensure only the very best educational experiences and outcomes for our children, coupled with our ambition to reach our full potential as a whole school community.
At Sandbank Primary, we pride ourselves on being open, welcoming and approachable. Every child is encouraged to develop their potential through a balanced curriculum and a variety of learning experiences in a nurturing, inclusive and stimulating learning environment. Hence, I would fully encourage you to come and visit our school. Whilst our website provides a nice flavour for what we can offer, I would be extremely pleased to welcome you in person in order to share our vision for the school and our children in much more detail.
